Outfits & mounts

44 outfits to collect and 31 mounts to earn. Both are pure decoration — an outfit never changes your stats, and every mount gives the same small speed bonus, so nothing here is a shortcut past anyone.

Most outfits are unlocked by doing something for an NPC: bring an item, clear a number of monsters, or finish a quest. A few are sold for gold, and a few are premium.

Why some outfits cannot ride

A mounted character needs a second set of artwork showing the rider seated. 13 outfits have never had that artwork drawn, so instead of showing you standing upright on a moving mount, they simply cannot be mounted. Wear them freely — just step off the mount first, or switch to one of the 31 that ride.
